Kodaline – Stephen Garrigan (vocals), Mark Prendergast (guitar), Vinny May Jr. (drums) and Jason Boland (bass guitar) make up the group that is Kodaline. Hailing from Ireland, the band line up was completed in 2011 (although two of the members had known each other since childhood) and in 2012 they released their first EP.

The band’s debut album, In a Perfect World, was released in 2013. The album peaked at number 1 in Ireland and number 3 in the UK. The album’s lead single, “High Hopes“, peaked at number 1 in Ireland and number 5 in the UK.

The band’s second album, Coming Up for Air, was released in 2015. The album peaked at number 1 in Ireland and number 5 in the UK. The album’s lead single, “Honest“, peaked at number 1 in Ireland and number 3 in the UK.

Kodaline has won numerous awards, including two Irish Music Awards and two Meteor Music Awards. In 2013, the band was nominated for a Brit Award for “Best International Group”.

Many of their singles have been used on TV commercials, programmes and film soundtracks.
