Kacey Musgraves is an American country music singer and songwriter.

Musgraves self-released three albums before appearing on the televised singing competition Nashville Star in 2007.

She signed to Mercury Nashville Records in 2008 and released her major label debut ‘Same Trailer Different Park’ in 2013. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 and has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Musgraves won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album for the album at the 56th Grammy Awards. The song “Follow Your Arrow” reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and gave Musgraves her first top ten single as a recording artist on that chart.

Kasey Musgraves’ second album ‘Pageant Material’ was released in 2015, and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, becoming her first number-one album on that chart. The album won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, making Musgraves the first woman to win the award in 14 years.

Kacey has supported many artists, including Lady A on the European leg of their Own the Night Tour in 2012 and Adele at her 2022 BST Hyde Park Concert.

Musgraves’ fifth studio album ‘Star-Crossed’ was released in September 2021.
