Hillsong United is a worship collective that originated as a part of Hillsong Church in Australia. Formed in 1998 as part of Hillsong’s youth ministry, the band consists of several rotating worship leaders from the church. Their music is praise and worship with a contemporary style that is a mix of contemporary Christian music and mainstream rock.

The group has released several live and studio albums The band composes songs and performs in church services as well as concerts in worldwide tours.

In 2013, the group released Zion, their third studio album. It became their first Australian number one, and also hit the Top Five of the Billboard 200 in the U.S.

In 2014, Hillsong United was nominated for and won five GMA Dove Awards, including Song of the Year for “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)“.
