Maribel Pérez best known by her stage name Belle Perez, is a Belgian-Spanish musician and songwriter.
She was discovered at the age of 21 after entering a talent competition in 1997. She subsequently performed in the Belgian pre-selections for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 and from there her career took off. In 2007 Belle re-entered the song contest try outs and came 3rd.
In a career spanning a little more than fifteen years Belle managed to become a phenomenon in various parts of Europe, especially the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany.
