Alexa Goddard is an English singer, songwriter, and dancer. She was born Alexandra Goddard on November 23, 1988 in Southampton, England. Her mother is a former dancer and her father was a British musician who played for several bands in the 1970s. She attended the BRIT School for performing arts and technology where she studied drama and music.

At age 14, Goddard signed a publishing deal.

She also wrote with other artists, such as The Saturdays and Pixie Lott. In 2009, Goddard embarked on her own music career and released a single, “Turn My Swag On,” which charted at number 24 in the UK Singles Chart.

Goddard released her first EP, ‘Always in the Picture,’ in 2010. In 2013, she released her debut album, ‘Alexa Goddard,’ which charted in the top 30 on the UK Albums Chart. The album featured her singles “So There” and “We Broke the Sky.” In 2013, Goddard was featured on Sigma’s single “Nobody to Love” which peaked at number one in the UK Singles Chart. In 2014, she released her second EP, ‘Vintage Heart’ and her third EP, ‘How Many Hours’ in 2015.

Goddard has toured with acts such as Paolo Nutini and Dizzee Rascal. She has also collaborated with producers such as Kanye West, Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, and Dr. Luke. She has made appearances on several influential television and radio programs, including BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2. In 2019, Goddard released her third studio album, ‘Lonely Hearts.’
