Alex Clare

Alex Clare hit the live music scene at 16 years of age, as a drummer and backing vocalist for a band that played covers in pubs around the London area. Alex Clare took over the role of frontman, armed himself with a guitar and started composing melodies to accompany the poetry he wrote. At 22 years of age he signed his first publishing/production deal. Unfortunately, because of his strict faith, the record label terminated his contract because he couldn’t promote himself as they would like and he slammed out of the public eye.

Alex Clare’s song “Too Close” was later noticed by a large company and they wanted it for a huge international campaign which successfully gained him a No 1 in Germany, No 4 in the UK and No 7 in America.
