Adam Lambert hails from the USA and came to prominence as a contestant on American Idol 2009. He didn’t win this, but gained an offer from Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen to become their frontman on world tours.

Lambert’s debut album, ‘For Your Entertainment’, was released in November 2009 and debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album was supported by his world tour, The Glam Nation Tour. In 2012, Lambert released his second album, ‘Trespassing’. The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200.

Lambert has sold over 3 million albums and 5 million singles worldwide. He has scored several top 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Lambert has also earned multiple awards and nominations, including a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his song “Whataya Want from Me” and three Teen Choice Awards.

Lambert didn’t pluck his showmanship out of thin air. He trained relentlessly in operatic vocal techniques appeared in musical theatre, sang in clubs and performed dance routines. This all culminated in the flamboyant star we see strutting his stuff across stage and screen and the incredible vocal range he possesses.
