Adam Harvey is an Australian Country Music singer / songwriter and guitarist who cut his musical teeth at a young age learning to play country songs on his guitar and was gigging at clubs whilst still at school.

Adam Harvey was born on 11 September 1970 in New South Wales, Australia. He is the son of Sid Harvey, a professional rodeo rider. Growing up, Adam had a strong influence from his father, and it was through his father that he was exposed to country music.

Adam started singing at age 6 and was performing in competitions by the time he was 13. In 1992, he released his self-titled debut album, which gained him success on the local music scene.

In 1994, his second album “This Is Me” was released and it featured his first chart-topping singles “Like Father, Like Son” and “Lights”. He went on to record 5 more studio albums including “Two Backs Against the Wall” (1999), “Homemade” (2004), “Lucky Country” (2009), “The Great Country Songbook” (2015), and “Under the Influence” (2018).

Throughout his career, Adam has won multiple awards including 2 Golden Guitars, 3 CMC Awards, an ARIA Award and a WAMi Award. He is also a member of the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame.

Adam Harvey continues to tour and release new music. As of 2020, he has released a total of eighteen studio albums. He is currently working on his latest album titled “Australia’s Countryside”.

Since then he has achieved many an Australian country music award for collaborations and as a solo artist.

Adam Harvey holds family very dear and is ambassador for National Families Week in Australia.
