The Vamps are a British indie pop band formed in 2012. James McVey was a solo artist who although doing quite well in his own right, decided that he wanted to form a band and eventually drafted in the rest of the guys (Brad Simpson, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans). They started out recording covers and using their youtube channel to promote themselves and were soon signed by a record company. Since formation, they have had successes with their own material (including “Can We Dance”, “Wild Heart” and “Last Night”) and supported the likes of The Wanted, McFly and Selena Gomez.

The group’s debut album, Meet the Vamps, was released in 2014 and was met with chart success, spawning multiple UK top ten singles. Their follow up album, Wake Up, was released in 2015 and featured collaborations with Demi Lovato, Omi, and Shawn Mendes.
