Sam Fender – Samuel Thomas Fender (born 25 April 1994) is an English singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and model.

Fender found his vocation as a singer-songwriter around the age of fourteen. He released several singles independently before releasing his debut EP, Dead Boys, in November 2018. He won the Critics’ Choice Award at the 39th Brit Awards. His debut album, Hypersonic Missiles entered the UK Albums Chart at number one. That same year, he began his modelling ventures. In 2020, Fender was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award. His second album Seventeen Going Under was released in October 2021 and also topped the UK Albums Chart. Fender received the 2022 Brit Award for Best British Alternative/Rock Act.

Coming from a musical family, Sam can not only play guitar and sing, but is also skilled with a bass, piano and synth, as well as producing some of the songs from his albums.

Fender had an early short career in acting when he appeared in a pilot for a TV show. His modelling career took off alongside his music with him becoming the face of the “Suit Your Self” advertising campaign for the brand Topman. He has also created his own signature clothing line.

2023 saw Sam support Bruce Springsteen on the European leg of his tour.
