Formed in 1962, they are most famous for their song ‘Tobacco Road’. They didn’t achieve long-term success as a band, but in the late sixties returned to supporting other bands.

The band’s sound was rooted in the 1950s British blues scene, but they also incorporated elements of early rock, surf, and psychedelia into their music. Among their influences were Chuck Berry, the Shadows and The Ventures. Throughout their career, the Teens released a number of albums and singles, including their most successful, “Tobacco Road”.
The group’s legacy is carried on through the reissues of some of their work from the 1960s and their influence on later bands such as Oasis and Kasabian.
