Their breakthrough came with their second album, “Welcome to the Real World,” released in 1985. Despite their initial success, Mr Mister struggled to maintain their commercial momentum. Their third album, “Go On…” released in 1987, failed to replicate the triumph of its predecessor. The band began working on a fourth album, “Pull,” but it was shelved as tensions within the group led to their disbandment in 1990.
Mr Mister’s influence persists in the hearts of 80s music enthusiasts, and their hits continue to receive airplay, reflecting the timeless appeal of their finely crafted songs.
During their hey-day, Mr. Mister toured with other popular acts including Don Henley, The Bangles, Eurythmics, Tina Turner, Heart, and Adam Ant.
