Los Lobos Backing Tracks – La Bamba
Los Lobos are an American rock band from East Los Angeles, California. Their music is influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, zydeco, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music.
The band rose to international stardom in 1987, when their version of Ritchie Valens‘ “La Bamba” peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and also topped the charts in the United Kingdom.

Los Lobos were formed in 1973 by guitarist/accordionist David Hidalgo and percussionist Louie Perez, guitarist Cesar Rosas and bassist Conrad Lozano joined shortly after. As an acoustic folk group, they cut a self-released album in 1978.
The band continued to record and perform after the success of “La Bamba” but did not regain mainstream notoriety.
