Lindsey Adams Buckingham (born October 3, 1949) is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and producer, best known as the lead guitarist and male lead singer of the music group Fleetwood Mac

“Holiday Road” is a 1983 single written, composed, and recorded by American guitarist/singer Lindsey Buckingham. The song was written for the 1983 film National Lampoon’s Vacation. “Holiday Road” was also used in the sequels National Lampoon’s European Vacation (1985), Vegas Vacation (1997) and Vacation (2015). While the song peaked at only No. 82 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during its original release, it has since become one of Buckingham’s best known songs.

Buckingham collaborated with the Killers on their studio album Imploding the Mirage, playing guitar on the first single. He also guested on Halsey‘s 2021 album.

Whilst turning out music as a solo artist, he continued to record and tour with Fleetwood Mac until 2018.
