Jordin Sparks (born December 22, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. In 2007, she rose to fame after winning the sixth season of American Idol. At age 17, she became the youngest winner in the series’ history.

Her self-titled debut album was released later in the same year which was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has sold over two million copies worldwide. The album included the hit singles “Tattoo” and “No Air”; the latter, a duet with Chris Brown.

Jordin Sparks has also appeared on television shows such as The Suite Life on Deck and Big Time Rush, and in films such as Sparkle (2012) and The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete (2013). She has also served as a judge on the American version of The X Factor.
