Jeff Beck Backing Tracks – Hi Ho Silver Lining … I Put A Spell On You
Geoffrey Arnold Beck (24 June 1944-10 January 2023) was an English rock guitarist. He rose to prominence with the Yardbirds and after fronted the Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice.
In 1975, he switched to a mainly instrumental style, with a focus on innovative sound, and his releases spanned genres ranging from blues rock, hard rock, jazz fusion and a blend of guitar-rock and electronica.
Although he recorded two hit albums (in 1975 and 1976) as a solo act, Jeff Beck did not establish or maintain the sustained commercial success of many of his contemporaries and bandmates. He recorded with many artists.

“Hi Ho Silver Lining” is a cover of the track by American songwriters Scott English and Larry Weiss. His recording reached the Top 20 of the singles chart in his native Britain in both 1967 and 1972, becoming his biggest solo hit.
Beck’s style was unique and instantly recognizable, combining elements of blues, jazz, and rock. He was known for his use of feedback and inventive guitar techniques. He released 14 solo albums over the course of his career, including the classic Jeff Beck Group (1972) and Blow by Blow (1975). He collaborated with a who’s who of music legends, including Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, and Eric Clapton.
