Almost certainly best known for his heart wrenching number “Honey” Bobby Goldsboro started on his road to success touring with Roy Orbison as his guitarist in the 60’s. Having notched up a mass of Top 40 solo hits he launched a television variety show, a music publishing company, wrote songs for films and created children’s animated stories and in later life a foray into oil painting proved that Bobby Goldsboro was a most talented artist.
