Benny Benassi

Marco “Benny” Benassi (born 13 July 1967) is an Italian DJ, record producer and remixer.

He started DJing alongside cousin Alle Benassi in the late 1980s before moving to a new production studio in the mid-1990s. They created music for various acts, including Whigfield.

Some of Benassi’s singles have charted high in the United Kingdom and have been played worldwide in clubs.

In 2009, he worked with Madonna on a remix for her single “Celebration“. He has also worked with artists such as Chris Brown, Mika and T-Pain.

In 2005, the artist founded a record label the primary purpose of which was to give exposure to some of the lesser known DJ/production talent across the world.

He has won music industry awards including European Border Breakers Award (Italy), Record Award (Foreign Album of The Year) and a Grammy for the track “Bring The Noise“.
