Glenn Frey formed American rock band The Eagles back in 1971 along with Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. Originally a country rock band, they were helped on their road to stardom by Linda Ronstadt who recruited the individual members to perform in her tour band. Over the years the bands line up changed and latterly consisted of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmidt.

The band had released several albums, have won a multitude of grammy awards and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Having disbanded in 1980 they reformed in 1994 and consistently toured.
Glenn Frey passed away in 2016 and the band continued, often with Deacon Frey (Glenn’s son) taking his place.
During the latter years Don Henley and Joe Walsh pursued successful solo projects and Timothy B Schmidt can be heard on many a track as a session musician as well as also pursuing a solo career.
