Mean Girls The Musical

Mean Girls the Musical is a Broadway musical based on the 2004 film Mean Girls. The musical was written by Tina Fey, the film’s writer and producer, and composed by Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin, with choreography by Casey Nicholaw. It opened on Broadway in April 2018 and has received numerous accolades, including a Tony Award nomination for Best Musical. The musical follows the same story as the film, telling the story of Cady Heron, a homeschooled teen who moves into an American high school and struggles to make friends. Despite the show’s success, it did not have a long run on Broadway and closed in December 2019.
