Sir Thomas John Woodward OBE (born 7 June 1940) is a Welsh singer known by his stage name Tom Jones. His career has spanned six decades, from his emergence as a vocalist in the mid-1960s with a string of top hits, regular touring, appearances in Las Vegas (1967–2011), and career comebacks—to coaching on “The Voice” UK. Jones’s powerful voice has been described as a “full-throated, robust baritone”.

From humble beginnings is The Valleys of South Wales, Tom Jones’ career has earned him a Knighthood and super stardom.
He grew up listening to the R & B, American Blues and Rock and Roll but also sang traditional songs from an early age in Church and in the school choir.
Having married very young, he took a variety of jobs to support his young family and also performed in the evening in the tough environment of working mens clubs.
Fired into the limelight in 1964 with his chart topping single “It’s Not Unusual”, it would seem that Tom Jones has not stopped in the decades since then. With numerous music awards including a BRIT (2000) Tom Jones continues to wow his audiences with a stunning show to accompany his still fabulous vocals.
His ventures into television, recording vocals for films, charity works and collaborations with other artists are too many to mention here, suffice it to say that the mega star that is Sir Tom Jones has had a life of experiences and is rich in ways that many could never imagine.
