Self Esteem – Rebecca Lucy Taylor (born 15 October 1986) is an English singer-songwriter and actress.
From 2006 to 2017 she was part of a band called ‘Slow Club’ where she played drums, guitar and provided vocals.
After their split she spent some time producing a range of artistic projects including an exhibition of paintings, prints, and short films.
She released her first solo music in late 2017 with the single “Your Wife“.
The Self Esteem debut album, Compliments Please, was recorded in 2018. The first single “Wrestling” was released in July 2018 followed by “Rollout” in September 2018.
During 2019 she completed a UK tour and played at festivals such as Glastonbury, British Summer Time and Latitude. In December 2019 she released a standalone single “All I Want For Christmas Is A Work Email“.
April 2021 saw the release of “I Do This All The Time“, the first single from her second album.
As an actress, she has appeared alongside Billie Piper in the 2022 series Everyone Hates Suzie.
