Plain White T’s (Plain White Tees) are an American pop punk band who formed in 1997. Tom Higgenson and Dave Tirio learned cover songs before they started to write their own music, and soon they formed a band and started playing locally. They’ve had a couple members come and go over time, but the present day line-up is Tom Higgenson (vocals, keyboards and guitar), Tim Lopez (vocals, lead guitar), Mike Retondo (vocals and bass guitar) and De Mar Hamilton (drums).
The Band are probably best known for their song “Hey There Delilah” which was a massive hit around the globe and had the band nominated for Grammy awards. With several albums under their belts and their music in demand for TV shows and advertising, Plain White Ts (Plain White Tees) are set to continue their success into the future. Their eighth studio album, Parallel Universe, was released on August 24, 2018.
