James Vincent McMorrow is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known for his debut album ‘Early in the Morning’, which was released in 2010.

McMorrow was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1983. He began playing guitar at the age of 16, and began writing his own songs soon after. He released his first EP, ‘The Willow’s Song’, in 2007.

In 2010, James Vincent McMorrow released his debut album, ‘Early in the Morning’. The album was a critical and commercial success, and topped the Irish charts. It also received acclaim from international publications, including Pitchfork, who awarded it a “Best New Music” designation.

McMorrow’s second album, Post Tropical, was released in 2013. The album was once again a critical and commercial success, and debuted at number one on the Irish charts.

He has released several more albums since then: We Move (2016), True Care (2017), and Cairo (2019) which was recorded in Cairo, Egypt, and features guest vocals from Egyptian singer-songwriter Mohsin Mohiuddin.

His music has been featured in a number of films and television shows, including The Fault in Our Stars (2014), 12 Years a Slave (2013), and Suits (2011).

His cover of the Steve Winwood song “Higher Love” has been his most successful to date.

He has toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States, and Australia.
