Hank Williams Jr

Living in the shadow of a man who helped change the scene of country music was a challenge for Hank Williams Jr (son of Hank Williams). Only 3 years old when his father died, young Randall “Hank” Williams was expected to carry on his father’s legacy and become a country music singer of the same ilk. At age 11 he performed “Lovesick Blues” on the Grand Ole Opry stage, just like his father before him. Following a career other than music wasn’t an option for Hank Williams Jr and he was moulded in his fathers image for some 20 years, followed in his footsteps, singing his songs and imitating his style before he finally said “no more”, broke the mould and came out the other side by finding his own powerful voice which he used to produce a blend of  various country styles, rock, and blues. Hank Williams Jr is able to play guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, steel guitar, banjo, dobro, piano, keyboards, harmonica, fiddle, and drums.
