Goodies (The)

Goodies (The) :  three British comedians (Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie), who created, wrote, and starred in a British television comedy seriescalled The Goodies during the 1970s and early 1980s combining sketches and situation comedy. In the series, the threesome travelled around on (and frequently fell off) a three-seater bicycle which they called ‘the trandem’.

They had a string of successful chart singles penned by Bill Oddie. In 1974–75, they had five hit singles in twelve months of which “Funky Gibbon” was their biggest hit, reaching number 4 in the UK Singles Chart.
