Fratellis (The) are a rock band from Glasgow, UK, formed in 2005. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli (born John Lawler), bass guitarist Barry Fratelli (born Barry Wallace), and drummer and backing vocalist Mince Fratelli (born Gordon McRory). Their singles “Chelsea Dagger” and “Whistle for the Choir” were both top ten hits in the UK charts.
Their debut album ‘Costello Music’ was released in 2006 and charted at number two in the UK album charts. Its success led to the Band winning the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act in 2007.

The Fratellis supported Kasabian in December 2006 on their UK tour before playing 10 dates by themselves in February and March 2007. In November 2022 the band embarked on a UK tour alongside the Kaiser Chiefs and The Sherlocks.
