Chris Stapleton is an American musician who initially spent time as a songwriter for Nashville stars, before performing as an artist in his own right. His debut album ‘Traveller’, released in 2015, went platinum and in 2016, he had four Grammy nominations and then two awards: Best Country Solo Performance and Traveller won Best Country Album.
Stapleton also led the bluegrass group the SteelDrivers for two years, starting in 2008. The band released two albums and earned three Grammy nominations. He then formed a rock group in 2010 — the group released one album and toured briefly as an opening act for Zac Brown Band.
