Bread Backing Tracks – Baby I’m A Want You …  Everything I Own …  Guitar Man  Guitarman … If … I Want To Make It With You … Lost Without Your Love

Bread was an American soft rock band from Los Angeles, California.

The original band members were:- David Gates (vocals, bass guitar, guitar, keyboards, violin, viola, percussion), Jimmy Griffin (vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion) and Robb Royer (bass guitar, guitar, flute, keyboards, percussion, recorder, backing vocals).

They regularly added in session musicians during studio recordings. Mike Botts became their permanent drummer when he joined in the summer of 1969, and Larry Knechtel replaced Royer in 1971, playing keyboards, bass guitar, guitar, and harmonica.

They had 13 songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1970 and 1977.

In January 1972 Bread released ‘Baby I’m-a Want You,’ their most successful album. It peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. The title song was a hit in late 1971 before the album was released, also hitting No. 3. Follow-up singles “Everything I Own” and “Diary” also went Top 20.

In 1973 the band split with some members going on to successful solo careers before reuniting in 1976. They recorded the album Lost Without Your Love which was released in January 1977. The title track was the band’s last Top 10 hit, peaking at No. 9 on the singles chart.

Early 1977 saw Bread on tour before member conflicts saw them disband again, but in 1996 they managed to settle their differences and reunite for a successful 25th Anniversary Tour.
